We all know the moral benefits of being grateful but this article will highlight the selfish benefits of saying thank you.

Alone setting

Thanking someone inside your head when you are talking to yourself will make you feel

· Confident — As you have helpful resources

· Optimistic — As you have witnessed the good in this world

· Humble — As you needed these resources to be where you are today

Group setting

When you are talking to one or more people and you thank them for something, you thank you is like a flower you give to them. They may keep it, ignore it or crush it but the fragrance of the flower will make the environment pleasant.

The next major benefit it has is that it shifts the spotlight from you to the person you are thanking. This has the following effects: -

· You get time to correct yourself while another person is in focus

· More people will like to help you because you are a grateful person

· You strengthen your connection with the person you thanked

Stage setting

When you thank the audience through your speech, article, or any other form of content, your audience feels valued and you earn their trust. People see the human in you who needs help, they see your imperfections and embrace them with open arms.

Thank Yourself

This is the greatest form of self-love and builds self-drive. You start having a positive talk with yourself.

Closing Note

This is my last article before the writing break after 120 days of daily researching and writing. I want to thank the support system of loved ones who read all my articles, gave their valuable feedback, and kept my mojo high. I want to thank my 10k viewers who gave me 2 min of their day every single day.

Last by not least

I want to thank me

I want to thank me for believing in me

I want to thank me for doing all this hard work

I want to thank me for having no days off

I want to thank me for never quitting

I want to thank me for always being a giver

I want to thank me for trying to do more right than wrong

I want to thank me for just being me at all times
